frequently asked questions

What are Clean Sheets?

Clean Sheets are serum-infused micellar cleansing wipes from 4AM that cleanse, soothe, and hydrate in one swipe — removing makeup, sunscreen, sweat, and SPF with no sink, no rinsing, no 12-step routine. Each wipe is individually wrapped and holds 4x the liquid of a standard makeup wipe, so it glides instead of tugging. This isn't just makeup removal: think of it as your cleanser, toner, and serum in one credit-card-sized packet.

Aren't makeup wipes bad for your skin?

Traditional wipes earned that reputation — Clean Sheets were built to fix it. Most wipes rely on harsh surfactants and dry out in bulk packs, and a dry wipe tugs and drags at your skin every time you use it. Clean Sheets are super-soaked with 4x the liquid, so they glide instead of tug, and the micellar-water base is loaded with skin-barrier ingredients like centella asiatica, glycerin, and vitamin B5 that soothe and hydrate while they cleanse. It's a wipe that treats your skin, not just erases your makeup.

How is this different from a regular makeup wipe?

Three things: saturation, packaging, and formula. Each Clean Sheet carries 4x the liquid of a standard wipe, so one sheet removes a full face of makeup without scrubbing. Every sheet is individually wrapped, so the last one is as fresh as the first — no dried-out bulk pack. And the formula is serum-level skincare (rose water, micellar water, centella asiatica, glycerin, vitamin B5), so your skin feels hydrated and balanced after, not tight.

Do I need both Rise and Rest?

While we believe that our Rise and Rest serums work best in tandem if you do not want to give up one of your routines we get it! Each bottle is specifically designed for the time of day you are using it, and both have our favorite ingredient L. Capitata.

Do I need to wash my face after using a Clean Sheet?

No — Clean Sheets are a complete, no-rinse cleanse. The micellar formula lifts away makeup, oil, and grime while the serum ingredients hydrate and soothe, so you can swipe and go straight to bed (your pillowcase will thank you). If you love a double cleanse, use Clean Sheets as your second step, after your first cleanser — the rinse-free formula means all those skincare benefits stay on your skin instead of going down the drain.

Will Clean Sheets remove waterproof mascara and long-wear makeup?

Yes — Clean Sheets remove long-wear foundation, sunscreen, and stubborn eye makeup. For waterproof mascara or liner, press the sheet gently over closed eyes for a few seconds first, then swipe — the extra saturation does the work so you're never rubbing your eyes raw.

Are Clean Sheets good for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

Yes. Clean Sheets are dermatologist tested and formulated with calming ingredients — centella asiatica for redness, calendula to soothe, panthenol (vitamin B5) to support your skin barrier — with no harsh surfactants and no drying alcohols that leave skin burning or tight. Customers with sensitive, rosacea-prone, and breakout-prone skin are some of our most loyal reviewers.

When should I use Clean Sheets?

Anytime a full routine isn't happening: after a late night, before an early flight, post-workout, backstage, at your desk, or at 4AM. Each sheet is TSA-friendly and slimmer than a credit card, so it lives in your pocket, gym bag, or carry-on. Morning, night, or somewhere in between — swipe, toss, glow on.

Are Clean Sheets vegan?

Yes — Clean Sheets are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. No animal-derived ingredients, no animal testing, ever. The cloth itself is 100% plant-derived.

What ingredients are in Clean Sheets?

Clean Sheets pair a micellar-water base with serum-level skincare: rose water to refresh and tone, micellar water to lift away makeup and oil without stripping, centella asiatica to calm redness and support barrier repair, glycerin to lock in moisture, and vitamin B5 (panthenol) to soothe and smooth. The full ingredient list is on our product page and every box — clean science, nothing to hide.

Are Clean Sheets fragrance-free?

Yes — there's no added fragrance in Clean Sheets. What you'll notice is a subtle, natural floral scent that comes from real rose water in the formula, not "Fragrance" on an ingredient list. Rose water earns its place: it gently refreshes, tones, and helps calm skin — the light scent is just a bonus.

Are Clean Sheets safe for lash extensions?

Clean Sheets are formulated without traditional cleansing oils, which is what typically breaks down lash adhesive. Avoid saturating the lash line directly and you're good.

Do I need to use anything else with Rise and Rest?

Two things: wear sunscreen every morning after your serum, and wash your face at night to clear away the grime and pollution of the day. Beyond that, do what works for you. Sabrina has very dry skin: in the morning she splashes water on her face, goes straight for Rise, then follows with moisturizer and sunscreen. Jade has oily skin: she washes her face morning and night, and Rise and Rest give her enough moisture, sometimes with a light cream on top.
